Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord soften my heart

rid it of myself, my desires, my emotions, my fears

may it burn with passion to know you deeply

may it seek to build a posture of gentle strength and overflowing grace

Father, make this splintered heart your home.

My prayer is that I would be eager to imitate your character, the joy that is ever so present, when to the world it shouldn't exist.

I wish to study fervently, that it would glorify you, and that I may cover my heart with the truth of your word.

may I bow in reverence before my exceeding faithful father,
